With nearly 24 years of experience at Glove House, Inc., Patrick Thomas-Murphy has witnessed many changes in his position as CFO, but one thing which has remained constant is his admiration for the care and difficult work that staff provide each and every day to our children and their families
Patrick has over 26 years of experience in not-for-profit accounting and over 29 years in the accounting field. Patrick was born and raised in Elmira, NY having attended the former Elmira Free Academy. A few years after high school, Patrick decided to further his education first attending Corning Community College earning his AAS in Business Administration followed by earning his BS in Accounting at Elmira College.
Upon graduating from Elmira College, Patrick worked in both Corporate and Public Accounting for 4 years, a year at Catholic Charities as Assistant Finance Director and since then almost 24 years with Glove House, Inc. as CFO.
Patrick believes in the core values of the Agency and finds it important to honor our past having created the Chuck Jennings Golf Tournament as a way to honor our founder.
Patrick’s most strongly held beliefs is that the only past that matters is the one created in a bright future.
