The Program
The Family Education Program is built on the Family Check Up Model. It uses self-assessments to find strengths within parents and children and uses those to build up areas of need. The Family Educator will meet with you and your family, in your home, to develop these skills in a comfortable environment. Meetings will involve goal setting and check ins as we work in collaboration with Tioga County's referral programs.
Parent-led
Parents are the leaders in changes being made for their children.
Collaborative
Individualized programs are developed through collaboration with partners.
Goal based
Benchmarks are established for each family during assessment to help ensure goals are achievable.
